Frequently Asked Questions

How much do your services cost?

My services are at no additional cost to you! I will guide you step by step, starting with pairing a well-suited crew and luxury yacht to fit your preferences. I assist in signing contracts, payments, and any questions that may arise. When the day comes for your vacation to begin, I am available for questions or concerns throughout your charter. Consider me your biggest avodocate. My job is to make sure your vacation goes smoothly and turns into one of the best weeks of your life.

What does the all-inclusive charter include & are there options for a reduced meal plan?

An all-inclusive charter includes a full meal plan with a ship’s bar and water toys available for use. The full meal plan is based on your group’s food and beverage preference. The preference sheet will be completed prior to charter so all of your favorite foods and beverages will be available the day of your charter. Island excursions or dinners off board are not included in the charter price. A full meal plan includes breakfast, snacks, lunch, and a three course dinner every day. If you wanted to opt out on a full meal plan, many yachts offer reduced meal plans including a “local fare” plan and a “half-board” option.

How far in advance do I need to book a catamaran & what payment options are there?

In order to choose from a variety of yachts based on your specific dates, I suggest booking a charter a year out from planned date. This will give you several options to choose from since each catamaran books quickly. This doesn’t mean last minute, spontaneous trips are impossible, they are possible! Many contracts follow a similar payment plan when booking a year out. 25% of the charter fee is due at the time of signing the contract, while 25% is due 180 days before your trip, and the remaining 50% is due 45 days before your trip.

Do I need to tip the crew onboard and if so, how much?

Crew gratuity is a very important part of the charter industry and most likely, the majority of your crew’s salary. Each crew member onboard work extremely hard to make sure this week runs smoothly, and you are catered to your every need. The industry standard of tipping in term charters is at least 15% of the total charter cost. Many crews prefer cash or checks, while some accept other forms of monetary payment such as Venmo.
