Bahamas Charter Itinerary: Explore the Exumas

Day 1: Nassau to Rose Island

Welcome to the Bahamas! When you step off the plane in Nassau, you’ll be greeted by your arranged taxi driver in paradise. Enjoy the ride to the marina to board your yacht! As you board, your crew will be waiting with a welcome cocktail and canapes while you settle in. The captain will go over an introduction and safety speech- before you know it, you’ve set sail for your first destination: Rose Island.

As an unhabituated island, the crystal blue waters and expansive beach is the perfect destination for your first night. Jump in for a snorkel or enjoy lying in the sun on the water inflatables while you wait for dinner to be served. Welcome to a week of paradise! Drift off to sleep in a luxury ensuite cabin, designed for relaxation and comfort.

Day 2: Rose Island - Allen Cay - Shroud Cay

Whether you are an early riser or late sleeper, take in your first morning in the tropics. While breakfast is being made, listen to the lapping waves as you savor a fresh cup of coffee. After a delicious, homemade breakfast, enjoy a sail south to Allen Cay, famous for its iguana population. It’s tradition to bring your leftover fruit from the morning’s breakfast as a treat to the wild iguanas.

Make your way to Shroud Cay for a fresh and light lunch before exploring the natural mangroves. Using paddleboards, weave your way through the mangroves, keeping your eyes peeled for sea creatures, like turtles, conch shells, and tropical fish. Spend your night watching the stars on the bow of the boat, soaking in the beauty of the islands.

Highlighting the park’s effort in conservation and a reminder to do our part, an entire whale skeleton is on display at the beach! After exploring the beautiful, secluded park, relax with a cocktail in hand as you watch the sun melt into the ocean.

A perfect photo-op to remember your time at this tourist destination. Get even more adventurous in the afternoon for a snorkel in the Thunderbolt Grotto cave, once a film set to a James Bond movie. Day 5: Staniel Cay- Compass Cay- Pipe Cay

As your trip is coming to an end, there’s still so much to explore! While you set sail back up the Exumas, you have to stop at this bucketlist destination: Compass Cay.
