At VI Luxury Charters, my goal is to make booking your dream vacation as stress-free as possible. Planning a vacation most likely evokes stress just thinking about it, which is why it’s important to have a knowledgeable, informed, and experienced Yacht Charter Broker on your team.

Like most great adventures, the first question is “where do we begin?”

Gather Your People - you know, the people you can’t live without, the ones that make every vacation fun, where your face hurts from smiling too much. Get these people together and decide:

  • How many people can attend the best week ever & when?

It’s best to have several dates in mind to maximize your selection of catamarans so, together, we can select the perfect catamaran for your group’s needs.

  • Where should we go?

This is where the dream starts, and the opportunities are endless. Depending on the time of year you are available will help narrow down the destinations. Wanting to escape the winter months by heading somewhere warm and tropical? Head down to the British Virgin Islands. Prefer a quick flight with cheap airfare? Consider the popular US Virgin Islands. Craving a secluded adventure? The stunning Bahamas should be your #1. Anniversary in September (during Hurricane Season)? Think about exploring somewhere new- like Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

  • What’s our budget for the trip?

There are 3 main factors when budgeting for a catamaran vacation:

    1. Charter Price: the rental of the yacht along with Captain and Chef, all-inclusive meal plan, preferred beverages (excluding high-end liquors and vintage wines)

    2. Gratuity for the Crew: 15% to 25% of the charter price is customary in most islands among crew of all nationalities

    3. Travel costs: flights, transportation, and travel insurance

Let’s Chat - I want to get to know you and your group! Take that next step, send a quick email or give me a call so we can discuss your preferences.

  • After our call, check your inbox. Something exciting is waiting: A selection of luxury catamarans, hand-picked for you that specifically fits all of your needs.

  • Once deciding on “The One”, a hold will be placed for your desired dates. The hold will last two weeks while we go over the charter agreement, payment schedules, travel logistics and any questions you may have regarding the catamaran.

  • Once the signed contract and initial deposit is in, your countdown to vacation begins!

  • Travel Insurance

Sometimes life gets in the way and that’s where travel insurance is a valuable asset. I will guide you every step of the way, the ins and outs of what insurance policies work best with your group and charter destination.

  • Flights

It’s best to research the options prior to booking your charter so you can get a feel for what it will be like to get to your ultimate destination. At this stage, it’s time to book your tickets and check flights off the list!

  • Island Transportation

Once you land, a private taxi will be waiting for your arrival to safely transport you to the marina where you’ll board the catamaran! For those flying into the USVI but chartering in the BVIs, public and private water taxis are available to book prior to landing.

You have Arrived in Paradise- take in the present moment because you are here. The moment everyone has waited for… the best vacation ever is beginning.

  • When the day comes for your vacation to begin, I am available for any questions or concerns you may have. My passion is making sure each of my clients are fully satisfied with their charter and turns into one of the best weeks of your life.

  • Dip your toes in the water, have a cocktail during golden hour, savor the fresh meals, snuggle up to your family while stargazing. This week is about you- do what makes you happy and enjoy the islands.
